We spent a wonderful 2 weeks in the mountains of North Carolina. Our dogs, Bree Bree & Bazil, go with us just about everywhere that dogs are allowed. We went hiking, shopping, out to eat & MORE hiking, shopping & eating...well, you get the idea! This is a photo of the pups in the truck on our way back home...I think we wore them out!!!

I'm currently driving a JEEP Liberty with a 'Slider Roof', which I love...but, it's just not the same as a Convertible! I came upon this photo that was taken in August of 2004 during a trip through New England. If memory serves me correctly, this is in front of a 'Dog Art Gallery' in Woodstock, VT. This is the thermometer on my screened-in porch (in the shade) at about Noon today!I think we actually got up to 70 something by day end.SPEECHLESS...It is still January!!!
The sun was shining and it was an amazing day so I leashed up Basil & Bree Bree and we went for a long, long walk through the Village Parks.(Vince was on the golf course...I have a shoulder issue right now) Basil couldn't help himself when we passed by the big red fire hydrant.Poor 'lil guy didn't learn how to raise his leg like a REAL BOY DOG.

Do you see my fax/phone in the upper right-hand corner? I rarely receive faxes anymore, but when I do sometimes my 'Lovely Assistant' gets to them before I do and this is what happens. Shreds of paper all over the office. It is hilarious to watch...she can shred a piece of paper into a hundred pieces in a few seconds. She's Quick!!! My personal furry little 'Paper Shredder'!

I rarely let my dog off the leash, but there is a trail up in the mountains of NC where we go on the weekends that isn't well known...so, we let Basil enjoy a bit of freedom this past weekend. During the fall months, I panic when I can't see him AND believe me I can lose sight of him very quickly with all the leaves on the ground. He blends in and disappears!!! A couple of days ago I was finishing up some work in our home office before 'shutting' down for the evening. Vince came home and both of our pups greet him as if he's been gone for a month (you know, the typical doggie greeting).
