denver relocation: Castle Pines North Homes For Sale By School Boundaries | Timber Trail Elementary School
- 04/17/11 03:58 PM
When searching for a home in the Denver suburbs, school boundaries are sometimes a very important qualifier for the search location. While Colorado is an open enrollment state, the opportunity to enroll children at any public school only exists if there is room. Some schools are at or near capacity, and living within the school's geographic boundaries can sometimes be the only or best way to be certain of enrollment. Additionally, if you do not live within the school boundaries, school bus will not be a transportation option for you. Timber Trail Elementary is a K - 6 school in Castle (0 comments)
denver relocation: Highlands Ranch Homes For Sale By School Boundaries | Douglas County School District
- 04/17/11 02:59 PM
When I am working with Denver relocation ciients or folks that already live here in the Denver metro area but are moving to another neighborhood, it is not uncommon for them to want to search homes in an area by school district or even drill down further to a specific school boundary. Douglas County and Highlands Ranch is no exception to that. I have been posting many of the neighborhood boundaries by school of Highlands Ranch homes for sale. In case you are looking to look at several here they all are. It is important to double check with the school (0 comments)

denver relocation: Living in Denver Suburbs | Arapahoe County | Littleton Public Schools | Euclid Middle School

There are several schools district in the Denver metro area and south Denver suburbs, and it is fortunate that in those districts there are many very good and award winning schools. School boundaries can be a very important factor when choosing to buy a home for some. The Littleton Public schools are one such school district. While Colorado is an open enrollment state, some schools are at or near capacity, and living within the school's geographic boundaries can sometimes be the only or best way to be certain of enrollment. Euclid Middle School is one school that I am often asked (0 comments)

The Cherry Creek School District boasts many wonderful schools, however Cherry Creek High School is definitely high on the list that I am asked about often. Neighborhood schools can often be a very important factor when choosing to buy a home for some. Colorado is an open enrollment state, some schools are at or near capacity, and living within the school's geographic boundaries can sometimes be the only or best way to be certain of enrollment. This is often the case with Cherry Creek High School - it can be one of the most difficult schools to open enroll at it (0 comments)

Today is the day, Saturday March 12th the Lebsack Tennis Center in Redstone Park officially opens for the season.
The opening is officially at 9:30 until noon and there will be free adult drills, racket demos, entertainment with music and a clown and even some discounted class registrations, according to the flyer. The courts were a flurry of activity all week getting washed and cleaned up and ready for the season grand opening.
The year is just going way too fast don’t you think? Here we are already into March and soon it will be Spring again. Not that I’m complaining about that, I love the warmer weather. Since we are in March, that means the Highlands Ranch real estate data for February 2011 is in the books. Looking at the values for Highlands Ranch in February, the largest sector of activity is as usual, the $200-$500k price range. This price range has the largest amount of inventory and the (1 comments)
There are 2 things I have found over the years about Denver winters that are surprising to my Denver relocation clients. #1) That we aren't always buried in cold & snow from November through March. We covered that a bit lately, so I won't really cover that again today. #2) The second being the wind. When we get our warmer temps and the mountains are getting a good deal of snow, it can tend to be very windy here on the front range. I am not meteorologist by any means so I (6 comments)
January is behind us already and there is a lot of questions about how the real estate market is doing in Highlands Ranch. Well, I suppose that depends a lot on which market segment you may be curious about. The bulk of activity remains in the sweet spot between $200 – $500k. This is generally where the majority of homes in Highlands Ranch fall as far as price range. Looking at the data, the largest segment for activity is the $200 (2 comments)
denver relocation: Living in Denver: Colorado Mammoth Lacrosse
- 02/13/11 12:30 PM
In the last few years my son has taken an interest in lacrosse and has been playing during the spring and summer in a youth league. Before he started, I have to say that I knew very little about lacrosse but as I have watched him play now, I have really enjoyed it. At the beginning I knew nothing about the rules or much about it at all. It has taken time to figure it out from the spectator point of view - a bit like hockey in the physical nature but nothing like the other sports I am used to (6 comments)
Regardless of the snow, if your home is for sale in the Denver area and you have showings today, you better take them seriously. Because if anyone is out in this weather, you better bet they are a serious buyer. Please be sure you have your sidewalks and driveways cleared of all snow and hazards. I have trudged through numerous driveways over the the years with buyers that snow is not cleared. And I have to tell you, every now and then a home buyer will just (10 comments)
