I had the pleasure of walking in the first annual Run it Forward Charitiy Event last weekend. I spent the morning walking with my wife Jessica and our three sons. I have included some photos from the event. People from all over the Greater Cincinnati area participated and they had many sponsors provide food and drinks. Debbie Long got us involved and helped to start the charity last year.

Ohio's housing market is seeing a major decline statewide. From January of 2008 to January 2009 the market as a whole in the State of Ohio declined 21.3% from last year. In Cincinnati Ohio, the number of units sold went from 1130 to 909, a change of -19.6% from January to January. Sale prices weren't much better. The sale price in January of 2009 vs 2008 went down 18.4% in Greater Cincinnati. The state average was -11.9%. On a positive note, the "experts" are now saying that the bottom is near for Ohio. In today's article from the National Association of Realtors we see that prices have continued to fall nationwide in 2008 vs. 2007. I have also seen that here in the Cincinnati, Ohio Metro Area. In our sales meeting Wednesday at Keller Williams we read an analysis showing that in the entire Cincinnati Metro area the Median Price has fallen 32% from the same month in 2006.
