A new business opened this week in Milford, Ohio a suburb east of Cincinnati, Ohio in Clermont County.   The business is called Jump Zone party play centers.  It is located on State Route 50 just east of downtown Milford.  It is located near Expressway Park.  It is a franchise opened up by a local family.  We went to a birthday party there on Thursday this week and the experience was great.  The place was brand new and clean and the kids had a great time.  We were there for about 2 hours and they never stopped moving.  I was able to climb … (2 comments)

Well here is my first blog of the new year.  Lets just hope that we can start moving forward on some real change in the housing industry starting with home sales.  I have noticed a real increase in the number of internet inquiries, phone calls and requested showings.  From a $22,000 property all the way up to activity on a $700,000 plus listing; it is looking better than a month ago.

I just watched this video posted this morning from a popular news show.  If the rates do go down to 4.5% for new purchases on homes do you think this will stimulate long term growth in the housing market?

Right now with buyers and sellers trying to figure out the market most sellers are unable or unwilling to lower the asking prices on homes.  Buyers are out trying to find the best deals and can usually pick off the lowest priced listings within 30 days of initial listing time.  The homes that are not being sold quickly and don't get price reductions are subject to a long number of days on the market.  I have listings ranging in price from $104,900 to $1,750,000 and there are no contracts in on any of them right now.  I will keep you posted … (2 comments)
