Volunteers are needed to help with the Muddy Run Deer Count. The count will be held at the park on January 15th on Holtwood Road (State Route 372) near Quarryville, Pennsylvania.
The count will take place from 1 to 4 PM and will be held rain or shine. The count involves one to two hours of steady walking. Volunteers should dress for the field and the weather conditions. All those participating should report to the snack bar and camp store for a brief orientation.

There is a pamphlet assembled by "Places 2040" in cooperation with the Lancaster County Planning Commission and the Lancaster County Association of Realtors. It is titled "Lancaster County a Changing Place, 2000 - 2015." The Report contains vital information to be used in planning for the year 2040. You can down load the entire pamphlet at places2040.com.
