Artscape Festival at Lakeside Park Was a Success The weather was perfect to enjoy the Artscape Festival today at Lakeside Park in Pell City, AL. The artist that participated in the show had many hand crafted treasures. The talent of the artist was shown through the unique items on display today at the festival.
My favorite piece from the Artscape Festival is this oil/acrylic painting. It caught my eye because the oil was so thick it had a 3D effect. Jerone Vason told me this particular painting took two months to dry. My photograph does not come close to showing the beauty … (12 comments)
Every once in a while you will see a post that burns itself in your memory. If I could remember who posted it, I would link the post. In their area, they found a farmer selling vegetables on the side of the road with an honor system for anyone wishing to purchase while he was not there. When I read the post, I could not imagine anyone having that much trust in the people of their area. It is very important to me to try to support our local farmers. I wanted to share with you some of the most beautiful sunrises you have ever seen on Logan Martin Lake. Our beautiful lake is centrally located off of I-20 about 30 miles east of Birmingham in St. Clair County on the Coosa River. The nearest town is Pell City Alabama which is my hometown.
