madison alabama: It Becomes A Law On Monday~No Texting While Driving In Huntsville & Madison, AL

It finally becomes law on Monday. I wrote a Blog in July when this bill was passed...and now we are here. Madison, Alabama has also adopted this law as well. Both ordinances make it a crime for city drivers to use a wireless communication device to "send, receive, download or view" electronic or digital content. This means no sending text messages, no reading e-mail, no scrolling through music files, no peeking at YouTube.
