keller williams: Another "Extreme Makeover" Home on the Market - 09/03/09 01:57 AM
I used to watch the ABC Reality show "Extreme Makeover" whenever I needed a little bit of a "feel good" cry.  The why my emotions would be worked in that 2 hour segment is amazing.  In the back of my mind I always had the thought "How can the family afford to maintain a house like this?"  I guess my thoughts were right. 
In the Wall Street Journal today, there's an announcement of one of these "extreme" housing hitting the for sale market.  As I read the story I was saddened to hear the trials of this family.

W. Clement Stone, I believe made a statement similar to this when he stated that when 2 people get together to focus on an issue they create a 3rd mind or "mastermind". 
I had the chance to participate in this very thing the 2nd half of yesterday and it will continue today when Keller Williams Realty International invited our mortgage partners to Austin, TX for a mastermind.  This is the very first time this has been done, so I traveled to Austin with the owner of our mortgage partnership to participate.

I heard a great story yesterday from the Keller Williams office I work with in Wausau, Wisconsin.
One of our newer hires, who came to us from another firm but is relatively new in the business, had her first listing appointment last week.  The appointment came about as a walk in to the office.  He was an elderly gentleman who lived about 2 blocks from our office.  He stated he needed to sell his house so he could move approximately 3 hours north to live with his son and his son's family.
