Homer Alaska is different… it is a small town with very diverse people. Very creative people… People who see a problem and try to solve it in their own way sometimes. Take the cross walks, for instance…. We are not used to them. We haven’t had them all that long. We only have one stop light and we all ran that for a while getting used to it. Just about every day at least one person asks me what I think will happen with the market in Alaska with the oil prices being so low. SNOW! We got some SNOW! It is all white and Beautiful right now… probably won’t last long but it is worthwhile to enjoy it while we can! People are loving it! We like the snow in the winter. Usually we have about 10 inches of snow in January so a couple of inches of snow isn’t an event! Heres Hoping we get another couple of inches!
Someone who is loving every drop of snow right now is Smoky Jo!
