Dear fellow active rain members, I have a question I'm sure someone here can answer for me. I have a friend who allowed her fiancé to purchase a couple of investment properties in her name & with her credit.
To make a long story short, the homes are now in foreclosure. I put one of the houses on the market to see if we could short sale it, but we've recently found out that the fiancé had the deeds switched out of her and name without her knowledge.
My question is would we still be able to sell the house though … (1 comments)

While parts of the east coast was hit with some early snow fall this past Tuesday, I don't think Storm Fields saw it coming, many attended the EverythingJersey: business 2nd Annual Statewide Conference & Expo at the Garden State Exhibit Center this past Tuesday. Is there a difference between a good “listing” and “just having a house on the market.” I would have to say “yes.” Having a good listing means having a

home that is reasonably priced for the on-going market. If the home is priced too high (especially in this market) the chances of it selling are weakened.

On the other hand, if the home is priced too low, then the home owners may be left thinking they could have received more for their home.
