Looking for a property that allows the most flexible use in Whistler that allows you to come up on a whim or rent it out whenever you'd like, perhaps not even rent it out if that's what you prefer? Your best option would be phase I properties. These are mostly located in the Village, and at Blackcomb though there are quite a few in Whistler Creekside as well. Many of my clients have been emailing and calling over the past week to find out why I have not been including the recent sales in my weekly newsletter.
 
Well, the funny thing is that I got my hand slapped last week by the Whistler Listings Service "powers that be" for including the recent sales in my emails. Apparently until a property has actually closed we cannot disclose the sale price for fear of jeopardizing a deal that hasn't closed yet. The trouble is that our listing system does not distinguish between a "firm deal" and a "closed deal". … (0 comments)
