Indian Neck-Branford CT is a wonderful waterfront community located in the south central area of Branford. Once a big tourist destination back in the early to mid 20th century the beach was a place full of activity and the area consisted of many second homes.
Favorite businesses back then included a Candy Store, Bud's Bait Box, Dairy Joy Ice Cream, Harry's General Store, Madelyn's Restaurant, Surfside Restaurant and The Waverly Inn. In the early 1970's the area became more year round and the commercial business that once flourished … (9 comments)
