I'm laughing so hard right now... I'm also so very extremely embarrassed right now...Inman News interviewed me for an article about Austin that just came out: Austin market defied U.S. economic drought, but faces real one, by Mary Umberger.She did a good job of writing the story and then did a Q&A section with me and a handful of other agents. It was interesting to see the vast aray of perceptions agents working across the area have. Lakeway TX had a great Summer with 74 home sales from June 1 - August 31, 2011! There are also currently 22 properties that are under contract pending closing. In 2010, during the same time period, there were 70 Lakeway home sales. Pretty even year over year. Another story brews within these home sales in the City of Lakeway TX.I want to take a look at the percent of list price vs sales price. This blog is to help educate Buyers, Sellers and even other Realtors across the country. Each market is different and the way Real Estate is done is different. Austin Real Estate is completely different than Dallas, California and Florida and everywhere else in between.
