This post has so much truth to it.  I think that our buyers, especially of, new construction should have an independent building inspection of the home.  In OFallon Missouri you have time to get a building inspection and any other inspection, at you expense, that you want.  I suggest that you take advantage of this clause in the contract.

home buyer information: Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory! Fear can often lead to a missed opportunity. - 06/27/10 02:19 AM
My good friend Richard Weisser has made some really good points about buying now.  Don't miss out on the home of your dreams by hesitating.

Sometimes, it is human nature to second guess ourselves. After all, we have all made mistakes, and hopefully, we have learned from them.
But sometimes, NOT following through on a major decision might be an even bigger mistake. Not all choices are wrong, and sometimes the upside potential far exceeds potential risks.
Many potential homebuyers have been frightened out of the market by doom and gloom prognosticators that insist that purchasing real estate is a … (4 comments)

Has brought up a very important issue and one that home buyers should be reading.
Thank you sir.

Many of us have seen an increase in traffic from first time home buyers looking to cash in on the $8,000 tax credit. This is of course an effort not to miss out on the tax credit, which at … (4 comments)

Don'ts Every Home Buyer Should Know......
When we were growing up our parents used to tell us DON'T do this and DON'T do that.  Pretty soon we knew what the don'ts were and so, if we were smart, we wouldn't do the don'ts.  You know things like don't talk to strangers or don't run with a sharp object in your hand or don't touch that it's hot.  Then as we grew older we would do some of the don'ts because we thought we could.  Then we found out why we should not do the don'ts.
So now you are looking to … (30 comments)

3.   Homes are a safer investment than the stock market.  I know, I know, home prices have dropped … (8 comments)
