I love the theme this year of Austin Restaurant weeks! “Come and give it” for 2 weeks beginning August 16 - September 3rd (yes that is this week!). One city but two weeks and lots of food! There will be specially-priced meals and drinks from a unique array of Austin area restaurants and bars, including world class farm-to-table options and traditional local favorites. There will be prixe meal options with lunch $25 and dinners at $35 & $45. Turning your table for two into dinner for fifty is the goal! It doesn’t get any better than Austinites being offered a delicious opportunity to

active rain: Sorry too Late! Single story closed in Canyon Creek by Dorie Dillard
- 08/13/18 02:04 PM
I listed this HOT single story nestled on a quiet double cul-de-sac in popular Canyon Creek. Within a week, working behind the scenes preparing for “opening day” I had the individual website shared with top producing agents in the area who specialize in Northwest Austin sales. It vanished from market in 11 days. My seller reached out to me because of my dominance in listing and selling homes in Canyon Creek. I was thankful for the opportunity to interview and secure the listing. As always my go to stager Brian Morris with Brian David Design made the difference with a consultation and

Sometimes you just have to break for a moment and have fun. One day last week a new agent came back from her first closing! She was excited and we all congratulated her! Someone noticed we all had black and white on so we must have all received the same memo.... LOL! Break for a moment of frivolity....... Gotta love my work place.

active rain: Thankful Thursday ~ Happy Fourth Birthday Beautiful Beckett
- 08/08/18 02:05 PM
Beautiful Beckett is four years old today! I remember last year when she was three and the year before when she was two and unfortunately on her first birthday I didn’t think to create a collage L (thank you Sharon Tara for the idea). I remember well August 16, 2014 the year Beckett was born in the heat of the summer and Handsome Hudson had strep throat!! Time is racing by and we continue to be mesmerized with her independent streak, her love of her big brother and her adventuresome spirit! I still think the quote I used last year is appropriate and

What a wonderful warm and sunny week-end! My sellers are thrilled because their buyer is not asking for any repairs! The weather was sunny and warm all week-end so we enjoyed pool time and a trip for lunch to Lafayette, Texas to meet my brother and sister in law on Saturday. My open house on Sunday was a success and so was our Canyon Creek Back-to School party that we had to cancel last week becaue of rain! Did you know that Austin ranks #3 for Best Cities to live in?

Date night with my Geno is always a treat and pool party/BBQ celebrating beautiful Beckett's birthday early came off before the rain started on Saturday early evening. My open house was a success on Sunday and finished before the rain started again! I received an offer and finished up negotiations right after my open house! Love it when that happens! Temperatures are still warm and we're enjoying blue sky and sunshine in Austin! Why not plan on some dining fun in a laid back fashion this weekend ? Try out a place downtown on E. 5th Street where they believe beer and food should share the spotlight. It's casual... its fun and is a great place to meet friends or make some new ones! THE BREWER'S TABLE https://www.thebrewerstable.com/ At The Brewer's Table they offer a complete array of signature beers that are brewed in-house; with most of them featuring a crossover of ideas and ingredients with the food that comes from their wood

I've a unique spot for you to dine this week-end if you're in the mood for Mexican. Pulling up to this restaurant, you'll think you've been transported to the streets of Mexico and you never left East Austin! Have fun and enjoy the sights, sounds and flavors of truly wonderful food and authentic ambiance. SUERTE https://www.suerteatx.com/ The front door of this East Austin restaurant on E. 6th St. designed by local artist Aaron Michalovic will immediately catch your eye. - 07/25/18 10:13 AM
If you’ve owned your home for quite a while I’ll bet you’ve haven’t given any consideration to updating your homeowners insurance. When is the last time you even thought about it? Home insurance adjusts as your home does. Have you made some major updates (I’ll bet you have in the last 5 years)? Why not take out your policy and review your coverage. Here are 4 reasons to
