austin title: Digital Marketing Matters - 10/12/18 10:49 AM
I know Anita Clark is our Queen of Facebook marketing here in the rain. I never miss her Facebook Friday series and always appreciate her advice and suggestions. When a course came up going over advertising on Facebook I made a point to go because of the success Anita has shown us.
Austin PT 50 offered a course Friday October 12 at Austin Title on an introduction to “Ad Manager” for Facebook. Amber Thomas, President of Austin PT50 lead the class and offered some pretty compelling reasons why we should advertise on Facebook Through Facebook Ads.
In formulating my goals for 2019 I’m … (13 comments)

austin title: Serendipity Sundays ~ Serving others - 09/20/18 12:05 PM
I’m so glad that Roxanne Ford with Austin Title made a monthly commitment to bring a group to volunteer at the Central Texas Food Bank. I’ve made it a priority to volunteer. This month we went to a Mobile Pantry located at Turner Roberts Recreation Center and directly handed out 6,000 pounds of food to 101 people and what a “get it done crew” we had! The serving line moved well with everyone taking a station. We had several strong guys to help the people out with their food.
The recipients were delightful and full of gratitude for all the fresh vegetables … (18 comments)

austin title: Paying it Forward ~ Helping hands make a difference - 11/20/17 02:25 PM
At this time of year there are so many opportunities to make a difference for others. I try to make sure I am involved throughout the year and now have scheduled activities every month to ensure I make it happen.
One new opportunity I’ve found this year is volunteering at the Central Texas Food Bank. I had no idea how great the need for fighting hunger is in Central Texas. I was astonished to learn nearly 46,000 Central Texans (one third are children) count on the Food Bank to get nutritious food. A dear friend Roxanne Ford with Austin Title Company made … (19 comments)

Thursday morning is early bird shopping with breakfast and tickets sell out quickly!
My special friend,Roxanne Ford, from Austin Title and I have been observing this tradition for 11 years to kick off the holiday season! A group of us enjoy shopping, seeing friends and colleagues and absorbing the sights and sounds of the festive holiday season. This year’s event was Thursday … (9 comments)

Austin Platinum PT50 is a very worthwhile organization and sponsors really come up with some exciting ideas to make a difference for the people in Austin. I knew about the Capital Texas Area Food Bank but didn’t understand the depth of their commitment to the community and that the need is so great.
Roxanne Watson the VP of Business Development for Austin Title came up with an awesome idea as a PT50 Sponsor to make a difference to Fight Hunger in Austin. Roxanne believes there is strength in numbers and working together so her values matched perfectly with the Central Texas Food … (16 comments)

Roxanne Ford, Senior VP with Austin Title of Business Development, hit pay dirt with her idea of making a commitment to the Central Austin Food Bank to help them with providing volunteers! What an awesome idea to gather PT50 agents and Austin Title employees to volunteer time to fight hunger. Even the President of Austin Title, Josh Williams, came to lend a hand….I’m impressed!
It was an amazing afternoon on our shift! What we were able to accomplish in the warehouse boxing food was incredible…. we assembled 16,800 meals for families!! Talk about making things happen in 3 hours….the Power of … (9 comments)

8 of us local Austin Rainer’s made it to “Shake Shack” to sample the best burgers in town and visit! I couldn’t have asked for a better turnout on this warm, sunny day at the Domain. My daughter, Melissa came to introduce herself and meet everyone now that her first business cards came in!
Our market keeps everyone busy but I was thrilled to see time was made to come together to share our personal and business lives. Some were familiar with the third phase of expansion at the Domain but others like Bob Ratliff, Broker Associate - REALTOR® CRS, GRI ~ … (26 comments)

austin title: What drives the Austin economy? - 07/29/15 07:08 AM
 What drives the Austin economy?
Some feel job creation is driving the Austin economy. Others feel it is the real estate sector made up of both owners and renters. It’s a combination of both….a catch 22. Austin’s illustrious job creation is fueling a strong demand for homes and apartments. It does not appear this is going to let up any time soon!
Large business is offering good paying jobs as their companies expand. They are bringing in newcomers to Austin at an alarming rate. Lower wage workers can readily find jobs as restaurants and entrepreneurs open local business ventures. Many UT students … (20 comments)

austin title: What Services Do You Expect From A Title Company in Austin, TX? - 07/15/13 09:52 PM
What Services do You expect from A Title Company in Austin TX?
Rates for a Title Policy are set by the state of Texas. All Title companies can issue a title policy for a closing. The fee for this policy will be the same in each transaction in Texas. But are title companies’ providing equal service? What separates each company’s level of service?
In my experience the difference lies in the employees hired. In many cases the first point of contact comes with the business development staff of each title company. They are introducing you to the escrow … (21 comments)
