Four years have flown by in a blur and our beautiful, athletic and intelligent granddaughter Hailey graduated from Bucknell University! I remember when she headed out to Lewisburg, PA four years ago with a scholarship to play volleyball. Graduation is over and she'll be headed to N.Y.City the first of August to work for MarketAxess. She's excited about the company, their values and friends she'll be living with in this next chapter of her life. I enjoyed Kathy Streib's post on Friday, December 29th with her 10 Top Moments for the Year. What a great idea….I took time this morning to reflect over 2017 and came up with a list of my own “remarkable moments” which relate to my business and personal life. It’s been an exciting year therefore slipping by so quickly! It’s hard to believe my granddaughter Hailey Stout is a senior this year graduating from Bucknell University! Hailey took her girls volley scholarship seriously and was instrumental in recruiting other excellent players and leading her team as captain to new highs! Her last season is over and the conference office just released the news Hailey was voted to the Academic All-Patriot League in volleyball for the second straight season! The picture is of her and the other 3 seniors and her phenomenal coach! I’m so proud and thankful for my oldest granddaughter Hailey Stout who plays for Bucknell University on the girls’ volleyball team. She is a junior and carries a 3.66 GPA as a markets, innovation and design major. Hailey has been on the Dean’s List twice and is a two-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor roll. Hailey was just chosen to be one of seven named on the Academic All-Patriot League Team. The seven-player team which is voted on by the leagues’ sports information directors, has players from seven different teams. She earned this award for the first time in her career! Our granddaughter Hailey just finished her sophomore year at Bucknell University. She is on a scholarship playing on the girls volleyball team and has a hectic fall quarter. She found out about a marine biology lab class offered this summer in the British Virgin Islands through her school! She inquired and applied. The class was full but someone dropped out and thank goodness she had her name on the wait list! Now her fall semester will be easier. Never hurts to be in a back up position....just saying.....you never know when you'll be called upon to fill a spot! … (26 comments)

My granddaughter, Hailey Stout from Austin, TX, is playing on the Bucknell University Girls Volleyball team. She's back at school early for training and their first tournament in the Patriot League is scheduled with NJTT in New Britain, Conn on August 28, 2015 with a 2 day tournament, also playing Central Conn. State and Fairfield! I'll bet you can guess which one she is at a glance! Love that girl's Texas Pride! Last Sunday they practiced by playing sand volleyball (that was her day off)!
I’m sure most of you heard of Retailmenot. If not, your missing great savings! You need to start shopping trending deals and start saving big! My granddaughter,Hailey Stout, was accepted into the business school at Bucknell University after her freshman year and landed a great internship with Retailmenot over the summer. What an experience! Hailey was charged with attracting the millenniums through an advertising campaign. She commissioned an artist, Mike Johnston, to create a fun whimsical art mural to be painted in a visible place in Austin. Her project came together the day before she left for college on Saturday!! Looks like our granddaughter is off to an amazing run with Austin Juniors! Maggie Stout #2 plays with a great group of girls who won the Lone Star Championship meet held in Corpus Christi over this past weekend (Jan. 30-Feb. 1, 2015). Their record is now 20-1 for the season and they are on fire. Such colossal chemistry building with this team!!!
Maggie’s older sister, Hailey Stout, played for Austin Juniors and is now a freshman on a scholarship playing for Bucknell University!

Our granddaughter, Hailey Stout, is a freshman at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA. She is playing on the Bison’s Girls Volleyball Team #5 with a scholarship (this is the first year for scholarships to be awarded). We are so proud of her for the League awarding her the “Patriot League Volleyball Rookie of the Week!”
Hailey is one of six freshmen on the young Bucknell team along with 5 sophomores this season. Hailey helped close their season last week on a high note with 3-0 victories over Loyola (Md.) and NJIT last weekend. The win over the Greyhounds gave the … (30 comments)
Granddaughter Hailey is moved into her new home now at Bucknell University! The girls volleyball team is practicing hard as they leave Aug. 28th for their first game playing Cal State Fullerton in CA August 29th and 30th. She received her Jersey and is now #5....... shedding her #2 she sported for 4 years!

This morning our Granddaughter, Hailey Stout, was surrounded by many of her past teammates, coaches, family and friends to watch her sign her letter of intent to play girls volleyball with Bucknell University! In the lobby of the Westwood High School Field House in NW Austin everyone gathered around to give Hailey a round of applause! This summer her AJV team won the Junior National Championship in Dallas Texas! Her AJV Coach Ashley and Amy Knowles recuriting director for AJV came to congratulate her along with her Westwood HS Volleyball coach!
