We are so fortunate to have CBRE as landlords! Our NW Coldwell Banker United office resides on the 6th floor of the Arboretum Plaza in Building One and we not only love our location, we love our landlord! They make sure they show appreciation of all their tenants throughout the year as well as keeping our buildings and grounds in excellent condition! We look forward to our Christmas party and always enjoy the sights and sounds, food and wine at our holiday party. Not many landlords make such a fuss over their tenants but then both our buildings are full..not a space … (11 comments)

On Saturday, March 25th at 8:30 pm local time millions of people across the globe will be switching off non-essential lighting for one hour to observe Earth Hour, the world largest public environment action and I personally am going to be a part of it!
For those of you who don’t know Earth Hour began as a single-city initiative in Sydney Australia in 2007. Over the years it’s grown into a global movement with millions of people participating from more than 7,000 cities and towns in 152 countries/territories across every continent! Our office landlords (CBRE) encourage their tenants to interact building a closer knit community. One event they sponsored in May to encourage networking was showcasing artwork of students aged 9-16. In April, Kathryn Yu Art Classes held an outdoor drawing session by the Arboretum fountain in NW Austin. The 48 students were free to choose their own subjects to draw, but each sketch had to be completed in less than two hours. Their tools were pencil, brown or gray toned paper, white chalk and pen (optional).
12 finalists were chosen and are displayed in our office building from Thursday May 21st to Friday … (14 comments)

Earth Day ~ NW Austin~ Arboretum Plaza Monday April 22 2013 Our Arboretum Plaza took part in an amazing Earth Hour on March 23, 2013; it’s time to make another statement and stretch beyond the hour with Earth Day’s celebration on Monday April 22, 2013! CBRE (our landlord) supports “Turning over a new leaf”! It’s all about a firm commitment for reducing our carbon footprint and utilizing our resources more efficiently. The numbers are in for our 2012 efforts for recycling in our office complex at the Arboretum Plaza. Not only do I love our office location but I love our CBRE management who takes time to keep us green and mean! Kudos to the tenants of Plaza One and Plaza Two at the Arboretum! In 2012 we recycled 49,210 pounds of waste! Do you know what we saved?? 1. 418 Trees 2. 172,235 gallons of Water 3. 9,350 gallons of Oil 4. 100,881 kwh of Electricity 5. 81 cubic yards of Landfill Space

Most office buildings have fire drills; ours have an ice cream social! CBRE are the best landlords! Like any building fire drills are necessary but when we need to participate they provide us with Amy's Ice Cream...a local ice cream that is the best! Our office building in Austin, Texas is located at the Arboretum in Plaza One. There are two buildings and they served us all this gorgeous fall day! … (20 comments)

Our Landlord CBRE Loves Us Part IIOur landlord treated us to an old-fashioned BBQ in the lobby of our building (Plaza One). There was an 80% chance of rain so they pulled it inside at lunch so we didn't get rained on.They served up brisket, chicken and sausage, tea and lemonade and apple pie!We love our location, views, building and our landlords!
