It’s that time of year ... 2nd quarter is officially closed out! I always review my business plan quarterly to see if I’m on track with my goals. Evaluating 4 times a year keeps my performance on the path for success! I always ask my office manager for midyear updates on final accounting for my closings to double check my figures.
I know exactly how many listings I want a year and how many buyers I want to close. The average price point of homes has been escalating which in turn raises my average price of sales which can play a part in arriving at … (21 comments)

Our 11 year old granddaughter Maggie chose Cheer Station to train in one of their class programs. They coach over 550 athletes and have the largest cheer gym in the Austin area. Maggie likes their philosophy that each child can reach their potential through positive guidance and self-esteem building and superior instruction. They consider all their athletes to be a part of one big family while striving to develop the “whole” athlete.
A couple of Sunday's ago Maggie and her group performed in The Mardi Gras contest in San Marcus, TX and claimed first position in her Meteors group!

Well, Easter weekend has come and gone. After all the entertaining and eating out plus preparing those large spreads for family and friends it’s time to kick back and try eating lighter!My suggestions this week are low key. There is a 71% increase in number of homes sold in 2012 compared to 2009! Buyers are purchasing smaller homes in a shorter period of time and prices are stable. Inventory is low and 16 new and resale homes currently are under contract. Well staged and priced homes are moving off market in Canyon Creek. The tide has turned in 2012!

Saturday March 31st in NW Austin at Trailhead Park Canyon Creek held its annual Easter Egg Hunt! It was a resounding success!! Teryl and Tony Booth gave it their all and pulled off another memory making experience for all the Kiddos who showed up with their Easter egg baskets!
The sun was out, the skies were blue and the air was a perfect temperature for our 10 am kick off for all the little egg gatherers. Geno was even up bright and early driving to the park with an Easter Bunny in tow.

How many times have you found that the buzz from past clients to their friends, neighbors and family have resulted in a new client? I was reading an article by John Boe in RISMedia Daily e-news on “Harness the Power of your client’s testimonials.” I believe using testimonials is a great way to build credibility and develop rapport. A sincerely written testimonial does promote credibility when written from a trusted third party source. Every 15 minutes a child is diagnosed with some form of Autism. Students are encouraged to WEAR BLUE to school on this day. The American Heart Association has prepared a hilarious video to help spread the message that CPR should focus only on chest compressions.
