We have the good fortune of having Hancock & McGill Attorneys At Law (a prominent law firm in Austin) come to our sales meetings periodically to discuss relevant information we can pass onto our clients as they migrate to Austin.  As they have brought to our attention no one likes to plan for death.  And, yet we are all going to die.  50% of marriages end in divorce therefore our society is now made up of a huge number of blended families.  If there is no will, Texas law leaves a spouses' community property to his children, rather than … (12 comments)

Last year our neighbors decided when their 2 twin daughters were graduating and going off to college it was the time to make that move to city living.  I represented them in a new David Weekly energy efficient home in the Mueller Community where the old Austin airport operated.  Knowing the girls since they were 4 has been a treat.  They are very athletic young ladies, hard workers and achievers and due to placing out of so many classes are actually sophomores at Texas A&M.  We miss them although they do pop in to see us when they are on break.
