My mom was a Home Economics Teacher and taught her students how to bake French bread, other breads, rolls, pies, cakes, cookies. She taught how to make simple, nutritious meals by following the basic food groups, how to plan meals, and tips on running a household economically. The curriculum was practical and so many students benefitted from her classes. I still bake French bread from her "Fleischmann Booklet" on yeast baking breads and rolls (I only use Fleischmann yeast to this day). YEARS ago I designed and sewed out-fits for my kids and myself. I made drapes, dresses, suits, prom dresses, shirts and even designed and sewed hair accessories call scrunches and poufs (they are now back for an encore in popularity)! It's been so many years ago I almost forgot how to use my trusted Elna 7000! Fast forward and now youngest grand-daughter Beautiful Beckett is interested in cheer leading! granddaughters: Tuesday's Treasures ~ Sisters On a Snowy Day

As many of you probably heard Austin was blanketed with snow on Sunday with 2 - 3 inches of fuffy, white, wet snow! Of course that is nothing for many of you but in Austin we don't see snow very often. In 2017 the Austin Bergstrom Airport received a whopping 1.3 inches but the rest of Austin didn't see much. In 2011 we received .6 inches and in 2010 we received .3 inches! Beautiful Beckett and Handsome Hudson came over with their parents to entertain Paw Paw a few weeks ago while I attended an awards dinner ceremony with Coldwell Banker. Beckett has her own ideas about what bandages you need to wear when you have a cut or scrape. Of course not any bandage will do... it must be an Elsa! I'm so glad I found a tooth fairy pillow for Beautiful Beckett before she started loosing her baby teeth! This is number two and she is ready to collect her bounty!
