Geno and I had date night at our favorite "Movie Eatery" and saw Interstellar Friday night. I reserved Saturday for removing some items off my plate for the Holidays and we had so much fun babysitting Handsome Hudson and Beautiful Beckett while their parents enjoyed a date night! Austin Energy just provided numbers that show the Austin average for frequency and duration of power outages is about half the national average! These numbers include both commercial and residential incidences. How can that be? What are we doing in Austin that could possibly make such a difference?

Handsome Hudson was ready for school this morning and definitely dressed on the cutting edge! I love his pant cuffs matching his shirt! He, of course, was wearing his fast red shoes...I think they are now his signature look!
His Paw Paw has a pair of red leather shoes from Italy (one year when we were there all the men were wearing them, so, of course, Geno needed a pair) and we must get a shot of them together! I'm just saying.....would be a fun shot!

Are Texas metro areas overvalued?
Recently the media has picked up articles stating Texas Metro areas are overvalued. So far this appears to be false as we see the demand in Texas metro areas exceeding supply. This is quite simply Economics 101. I’m sure if you looked at particular communities and certain listings there are some overvalued but on the whole the overall market is not overvalued.
In Austin (which led the list of being overvalued) we have the longest entitlement process of approval for new construction which means the supply will take a longer time to catch up with the … (18 comments)

We didn't have as many trick or treaters this year! I thought we'd have more since Halloween fell on a Friday night. Many kids went to parties instead. Saturday we came to terms on an offer on one of my listings. I also met with a couple whose home I will be listing in the spring and they now have their laundry list of "things to do!" We were able to watch freshman granddaughter Hailey's college volleyball games through a live feed. The Bisons played kick butt against the number 1 team in the Patriot League!
