Canyon Creek, a premier NW Austin master planned community is exhibiting the same numbers in sales for May 2010 as in May 2009.  It appears buyers are choosing smaller square foot homes in 2010 as the average square footage is down 14.26%.  The average sold price is down 13.84%, however the average sold price per square foot is up 1.35% with the days on market up 5.3%.
With the removal on February 4th of the NW MUD #1, the residents are enjoying a lower property tax rate.
