This is one of my favorite photos. This was taken when Handsome Hudson took his first spring break to Mexico when he was two. He was so excited to be taking a plane and going with Paw Paw, Nana and his mom and dad. When we returned Paw Paw emailed this to me as he wanted me to share with Hudson when he was gone. "One does not have to do anything to become a grandfather. It simply happens when your child has a child. It is up to you to decide how involved you will be in your grandchild's life. I love this contest Dick Greenberg is sponsoring this month. How fun is it to peek at others wall paper and catch a glimpse of what inspires them each day! I’m really enjoying seeing everyone’s wall paper and reading why theirs is important to them. Every morning I check in on my computer in our front office (not my working office) at home. It’s early and my favorite easy listening music is softly playing. I like to gather my thoughts, read the news, scope out Facebook for a few minutes, check my emails and log onto Active Rain before my early morning run. I’m a (35 comments)

Spring break was so much fun this year! We were thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of Handsome Hudson’s first spring break in Cozumel! The boy took on Mexico with great enthusiasm! Splashing, throwing coconuts in the water, sampling guacamole and papaya...he did it all and did it well!! (27 comments)
mexico: Wonder How It Started?

Did you ever wonder how all the Christmas traditions came about? We take for granted so many, like the Christmas Tree in Rockefeller Center, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Poinsettia plants and many more that I'm sure you can add to my list. Poinsettia plants are named after Joel R. Poinsett, an American minister to Mexico, who brought the red and (18 comments)
