My sellers were original owners and brought their family up at 10700 Chestnut Ridge with many fond memories. Kids are grown and moved on and now the sellers have too.

What did the buyers love about this home? They loved the established neighborhood of Canyon Creek, the open floor plan and how the kitchen overlooks the backyard where they can watch their kiddos play from inside. They value the privacy the mature trees provide in the back yard and were thrilled the location of the house with its close proximity to the elementary school and the parks.

nw austin: 2018 Canyon Creek Property Sales In Review - 12/31/18 12:24 PM
Canyon Creek was on track to have a record breaking year in 2018 for home sales until the fourth quarter slide. Final numbers proved 2018 exceeded 2017 by 7% but the average sold price, average price/square foot all ended up negligibly different from 2017. No gain..no loss. Days on market were up 69%.
So what happened? Austin is a hot market but not all over Austin. We may be the city of choice but many buyers want to live in the inner city locations and are buying downtown and in East Riverside. They love new construction being built.
