Each year in December Austin Platinum Top 50 announces the top 50 sales associates from the 150 finalists narrowed down from thousands of applicants. The ceremony is now held at the Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capitol because over the last 8 years PT50 has outgrown smaller venues!
Amber Thomas (the blond pictured in the lower right hand corner) is a marketing maven who introduced PT50 to Austin 8 years ago! After a successful run in San Antonio she created another branch in Austin and I'm sure will move on to Houston or Dallas next.

Friday morning December 15, 2017 the Austin Plantium Top50 winners were announced at the PT50 Awards ceremony at the Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capital.
What is Austin PT50? It's an amazing organization that recognizes residential Real Estate Professionals for their outstanding achievements in sales, education, industry participation and civic leadership. Amber Thomas is the founder who started this organization in San Antonio and brought it to Austin in 2007.
There are 150 finalists from thousands of applications each year which are narrowed down to 50 recipients in Austin (it's an honor to be one of the 150 finalists).

Amber Thomas, President of PT 50 out did herself again by bringing back the PT50 Top Producer Roundtable! The Shoal Creek Crossing Event Center was the perfect place to hold the event. A Breakfast buffet was provided and it gave a chance for everyone to network.
Each of us participating received a dance card with 5 numbers! We started out at table #1 and every 15 minutes moved to our next numbered table. Member sponsors sat at each table and we received different topics to discuss as a group. … (16 comments)

It was a chilly morning on December 17, 2014 in Austin for the PT50 Awards Ceremony at the Sheraton Hotel downtown. The program was fun with videos compiled by PT50 of various members telling quick stories of their first sale plus an Austin Title video with endorsements from PT50 members and videos of selfies and bloopers!

What a week-end..Friday cold with ice and snow! Didn't last long but the kids got out of school so were thrilled with a day off! I negotiated some repairs on a listing and just submitted repair requests for a buyer after their inspections. I've been preparing for a listing appointment this afternoon and found time to start gathing some of our information for our accountant to submit for our income tax....I'll be glad when that job is over! Yesterday was lovely in the 60's.....not sure what today will bring! It's Monday morning again which means time to share some tech support … (25 comments)

Handsome Hudson found a new place to hide the other night when we were over to visit. We were talking and Hudson was moving around bar stools and then it was quiet! When we turned around again we spotted him in a place he had not previously investigated! He looked at us with that look: "Can you see me??" Yes Hudson how could we miss you!!

The First Austin Marathon was held in 1992 and has become a time honored tradition in Austin. The event includes a full and half marathon for both runners and walkers. The running field is normally made up of 14,000 both elite athletes and first time runners trying to complete the race within the time frame allowed. In the past many have used the Austin Marathon for those runners trying to qualify for the Olympic team.

Bob’s challenge is a good one as we all have our stories. I met with some clients a few years ago about listing their house. These were past clients of Gene’s. I prepared an in-depth market analysis and went through our marketing plan and what they needed to do to get their home ready for market.

One of Austin’s favorite traditions to start the year off right is to participate in Austin’s oldest stand alone half marathon! 2014 marks the twentieth year for the 3M Half Marathon! The race is slated for Sunday, January 19, 2014. Remember the race is capped at 8,000 participants so better register it's coming up quickly!
