serendipity sunday: Serendipity Sundays ~ Important Lunch dates - 10/30/18 12:34 PM

I love that Handsome Hudson's Elementary school encourages fathers to come to school for lunch dates with their sons or daughters. They also can read to the children or share something of interest. It's important to kids to know their parents care and take an active role in their everyday lives. Lunch dates..important dates to keep!

serendipity sunday: Serendipity Sunday ~ Hello Fall........ - 10/05/18 09:04 AM

I know Fall varies across the country. Here in Texas we are just getting in to the fall season as temperatures have still been pretty warm. With the Texas State Fair in full swing and UT beating OU (Hook Em Horns!!)....everyone is in the mood for burnt orange to be splashed everywhere!

serendipity sunday: Serendipity Sundays ~ First touch - 08/30/18 12:45 PM

Our Canyon Creek HOA Back to School Party was such a success on so many levels. I love the Fry's Fun Farm which is always sponsored by our Canyon Creek HOA. The kids love the petting zoo and this little one was so thrilled to be engaging with the first touch with so many animals. The gleam in their eyes and their relaxed bodies show complete acceptance with mother natures creatures, is a sight to behold.

serendipity sunday: Serendipity Sunday ~ Moving on - 08/23/18 08:35 AM

Handsome Hudson and Beautiful Beckett started their new school and classes last week. Hudson moved from his Montessori school to kindergarten in public school and Beckett moved up to her last class at Montessori before attending Hudson's public school next year. It's hard to believe these two have grown in a blink of an eye!
First week is down and all is well! Hudson likes to ride the school bus and enjoys his new class and teacher. Beckett loves her teacher and is adjusting well not going to the same school with Hudson.

serendipity sunday: Serendipty Sunday ~ Office Memo - 08/09/18 01:42 PM

Sometimes you just have to break for a moment and have fun. One day last week a new agent came back from her first closing!  She was excited and we all congratulated her! Someone noticed we all had black and white on so we must have all received the same memo.... LOL! Break for a moment of frivolity....... Gotta love my work place.

serendipity sunday: Serendipity Sunday ~ Special times - 06/29/18 12:01 PM
My handsome grandson Trey (he likes to be called his real name now Russell) is home for the summer before leaving to go back to Texas A & M University where he is studying in the honors engineering program. I always love to spend time with Trey as he is fun, industrious and said once "he was the best value in this family." What did he mean? From what perspective was he coming from? He has 2 sisters who have their hair highlighted, nails done, always buying clothes, accessories,  etc.  - he feels his needs are not near as expensive on an ongoing basis!! He … (18 comments)

serendipity sunday: Serendipity Sunday ~ Realtors® are really just like wedding planners - 06/22/18 02:20 PM

These two brides are actually agents from my office from our Coldwell Banker "Wedding Night Party" in Las Vegas at our convention last October at our #Gen Blue conference! When I saw this on Pinterest I did a double take because as agents we really are like a wedding planner. We are matchmakers. We coordinate and bring together the perfect match for the grand finale - closing day! Just like a wedding day our goal is for a perfect ending after a great deal of preparation!

serendipity sunday: Serendipity Sundays ~ Moving on - 05/23/18 08:13 AM
Four years have flown by in a blur and our beautiful, athletic and intelligent granddaughter Hailey graduated from Bucknell University! I remember when she headed out to Lewisburg, PA four years ago with a scholarship to play volleyball.  Graduation is over and she'll be headed to N.Y.City the first of August to work for  MarketAxess. She's excited about the company, their values and friends she'll be living with in this next chapter of her life. We are so proud of her and will miss her but know she will gain experience, enjoy life and hopefully come back to Texas!

serendipity sunday: Serendipity Sunday ~ So Proud! - 04/06/18 01:20 PM

Handsome Hudson is learning all about good sportsmanship playing various sports to see which one he likes best. So proud of this young man for winning the weekly Award for good sportsmanship on his soccer team!

serendipity sunday: Serendipity Sunday ~ The Best of Blue - 03/16/18 02:13 PM
It's been 2 weeks since our Regional Coldwell Banker United Awards celebration in San Antonio at the La Cantera Resort and Spa. What a wonderful time!
Teresa Recar (the beautiful lady on the left) our office leader (note I did not say manager because she is a leader) and broker received the International President's Circle award for our office! We are all proud of our office ranking!
I too received the International President's Circle Award which now sits proudly on my desk.

serendipity sunday: Serendipity Sunday ~ #4 Razzal Dazzles them! - 12/07/17 10:41 AM
Our granddaughter, Maggie Stout, is a junior at Westwood High School in NW Austin and was just named Athlete of the Month and is featured in Balcones living magazine this month. Maggie is #4 and stepped into a starting position on the Lady Warrior Volleyball Team this season. Maggie is a six-rotation, outside hitter who shines amazingly both offensively and defensively on the court. With her winning smile and enthusiasm on the court her team mates can’t help but pick up on her positive energy which propels them to finishing strong in their games.
Since 4th grade Maggie has been playing volleyball … (19 comments)

serendipity sunday: Serendipity Sunday ~ Thankfulness ~ Attacking life with everything - 11/07/17 11:23 AM
Beautiful Beckett (my 3 year old granddaughter) is her own person … She attacks life with everything she’s got! She just finished a tour around the Zilker Botanical Gardens and was happy to be running free! She warms my heart with her zest for life and how each day she lives each day at full speed! This is an entry into Debbie Reynolds Thankfuness contest!

serendipity sunday: Serendipity Sunday ~ Please stop in for a spell - 10/25/17 12:11 PM

Handsome Hudson and beautiful Beckett enjoyed picking out their pumpkins at the Clarksville Pumpkin patch! It was hard work so they needed to take a break.... from the look on their faces they were dreaming of trick or treating....reaping the rewards of Halloween. Their weary bodies reminded me of a verse I read from the Salem Witch Company..."Please stop in for a spell!!"

serendipity sunday: Serendipity Sunday ~ An Oasis of calm...paradise - 09/15/17 09:12 AM

The Rome Cavalieri Hotel is now the Waldorf Rome Cavalieri Hotel and it's still charming! After a long flight to Rome we stayed for 4 days before our Mediterranean cruise. It was a nostalgic trip visiting our favorite restaurants and haunts in Rome. The setting of the Cavalieri is spectacular! It's perched high above Rome on 15 acres of private Mediterranean gardens with panoramic views including the Dome of Saint Peters. It's an oasis of calm and only a short ride to the heart of Rome and its historical sights. The pool is pristine and quiet. It nourished our bodies from the long flight. ..Ahhhh...paradise.........

serendipity sunday: Serendipity Sunday ~ The calm before the storm - 07/18/17 12:10 PM
Time outs are always a good thing mid-afternoon.  Over July 4th we were staying at the J.W. Marriott and logged plenty of pool time!  Sometimes you just need to take a break and re-charge your batteries!  Beautiful Beckett sporting her new hat was doing just that…Ahhhh quiet time…the calm before the storm.
