What a week-end~Friday school was canceled (probably a little premature but erring on the cautious side). Friday afternoon I still met the photographer at a new listing and set up showing appointments for all afternoon (while we entered the home in the MLS). 8 showings and multiple offers..the home is under contract and inspections are this morning! Geno and I watched some movies and on Sunday the family celebrated Geno's Birthday (it was in the 70's and yes Handsome Hudson was there)! It was a busy week-end..I showed property, had a buyer terminate on one of my listings and got it back under contract within 24 hours! A friend had surgery so we took over some food as well as checked out an Authentic Italian place that just opened at the entrance to our community. Check out Foodie Fridays this week! OMG..what a surprising Super Bowl game! Bryan Millard in our office played for the Seahawks as an offensive guard therefore the majority of us were rooting for his team! What a week-end..Friday cold with ice and snow! Didn't last long but the kids got out of school so were thrilled with a day off! I negotiated some repairs on a listing and just submitted repair requests for a buyer after their inspections. I've been preparing for a listing appointment this afternoon and found time to start gathing some of our information for our accountant to submit for our income tax....I'll be glad when that job is over! What a week-end! We came to terms on my new listing with 5 offers in! I wrote an offer for my buyers Saturday which was accepted...Yahoo!! Saturday afternoon I listed another home to come on market in 2 weeks in Canyon Creek. Saturday night was dinner at son's home so we enjoyed some time with Handsome Hudson and Sunday morning daughter in-law Erica ran in the 3M half marthan run! We cheered her on..11 minutes under her best time! Way to go Erika!! Of course had to watch the 2 thrilling football games...what an outcome!

What a week-end! Signed 2 listings and got to show my buyer a home coming on the market soon! My new listing I put on the market Thursday is under contract... yahoo!! Got to Face Time with Handsome Hudson, went to the movies with Geno and delivered over 700 of our Market Reports (only 600 to go). We got our e-newsletter out on Friday. Here it is Monday already and time for a little Tech humor!

OMG the airports are crazy! It took us 2 days to get home from San Juan Puerto Rico! We just enjoyed a relaxing cruise on the Celebrity "Summit" ship to Barbados and upon our return were greeted with bad weather across the country tying up planes and airline crews! Great to be back and welcome to 2014! I've just brewed some fresh roasted coffee and invite you to grab your favorite brew and enjoy some tech humor. For some of us, this may be way too true... Can you believe tomorrow marks the end of another year? Tomorrow night there will be much celebrating and ringing in the New Year! Burr it's been chilly in Austin at night but has been warmer during the day with sunshine! I've had a great week-end..met with 3 sellers to list their homes and will be coming on the market in January and February. I came to terms on an offer for one of my buyers Friday night! We got to have dinner with friends Saturday night. I showed another buyer's girls the home their mom made an offer on last week and won in a multiple offer scenerio. What a cold and blustery weekend in Austin! Our community Tree Lighting ceremony and horse carriage rides still went forward as planned..it wasn't for sissies that's for sure! The grandkids made it over for cookie and glass ornament decorating, pizza and Geno's home made marina and then off to the horse carriage rides! We piled back in for leftovers and hot chocolate! On Sunday I still made 2 listing appointments, showed property and wrote and offer. Thanksgiving 2013 is over! Austin was back in the 70's over the week-end (with the same temperatures preducted all week - Joanna wish you and George had come this week) and we had the best week-end ever! Thanksgiving dinner was so fun and Handsome Hudson kept us busy, he is a little mover and shaker! Son helped us put up our tree and Friday it was decorated and all our Christmas decorations up! What a cold, wet week-end! Geno got chilled Friday evening and came down with an upper respiratory infection:) My sellers came to terms on a repair Amendment Saturday morning, I had the most fabulous lunch with Joanna Cohlan and her darling husband George (another post), negotiated multiple offers on a new new listing, babysat over night for Handsome Hudson and showed property Sunday! I was so glad to get home from being in the cold rain..can't believe Austin is experiencing this kind of weather! Joanna claims it followed her here!

What a great week-end in Austin! Weather was in the 70's so made it perfect to show property. I wrote an offer for one couple and am waiting to hear back from the listing agent. I showed another couple a fabulous new gated community that would work perfectly for them. I enjoyed a lovely dinner date with Geno Saturday night, signed a new listing on Sunday and were invited to dinner at Hudson's house so worked in some wonderful Hudson time:).

Perfect fall weather and what a great week-end! A wonderul Friday date night with Geno and a Saturday jouney to Round Top, Texas (that's a whole other blog) to see our traveling buddies. I met with some new clients, talked to 2 sellers who are now ready to list their homes with me and got some Thanksgving calenders delivered! We even had the opportunity to babysit Handsome Hudson....Couldn't be a better week-end!

We enjoyed cooler temperatures at night and 70's during the day this past week-end! Perfect weather for our Canyon Creek Fall Festival. The turn out was the best ever!! The costumes were orginal and it was fun chatting with with so many familiar faces!
Geno and I tried a new restaurant with friends and I managed to go over two settlement staetments with clients for closings this week.

What a busy week-end!! Geno and I went to our granddaughters HS Volley ball game Friday night, I showed property Saturday and found a house my buyer loves and are writing an offer! Missed the UT OK game but my Geno taped it for me so I could watch UT play like they knew what they were doing!! Geno cooked up at storm making chicken spaghetti and tuna casseroles to freeze….gotta love this man! We are gratefull for the lighting, thunder and rain Austin enjoyed this week-end. Bring on some more..we need every drop we can get! ACL brought lots of vistors so we ventured down South Congress while everyone was at the concerts to scope out an itinerary for Joanna and George Cohlan when they come to Austin! Son and his wife Hudson ran in the IBM 5-K run Sunday morning..Hudson is getting an eductaion on what races are all about:). Riding in his "Bob" makes for a great way to observe! Yesterday was the first day of fall and the havest moon over the week-end has been priceless! I've had a busy week-end. I went on a listing appointment, worked on a CMA for an appointment this week, tried to locate a single story for a new buyer in NW Austin, had a lovely dinner out with Geno, made it to the gym twice and babysat Handsome Hudson! Austin got some good rain but we need more to fill up our lakes.

Met with a new couple who are interested in finding a home, submitted an offer for a buyer on a home at the lake, talked with 2 sellers who are trying to get ready to go to market, had a wonderful date night with Geno at our favorite Movie Eatery and got to the gym both Saturday and Sunday!

Happy Labor Day 2013! What a week..getting back from vacation has been an experience:). Glad I rested while away and feel rejuvenated!
