Saturday December 4th was "Christmas In Odessa, Delaware" where for 46 years the Women's Club of Odessa have sponsored this wonderful holiday event to help keep the historical houses and buildings alive and available to the public. We were invited by a friend to partake in this year's event and we were happy we did.The first thing we did was to attend a performance by the First State Bell Ringers at Old Saint Paul's church. Philadelphia is Host To The Oldest Thanksgiving Day Parade In the Country1920 was the first year of Philadelphia's Thanksgiving Day Parade and this Thursday the parade will go on again! Floats depicting cartoon characters will be making their way down the Ben Franklin Parkway to the Art Museum from 8:30 AM until around 12 Noon. It is a fun event for children and the young at heart.
