valley forge park: Waiting For The Moon - 12/12/18 10:33 AM

It was quiet and peaceful waiting for the earth and moon to move so we could get a few photos. I did not have the best camera for nighttime photography, but I am happy with the few shots that turned out.

valley forge park: A Cold Winter Evening In Valley Forge - 01/13/17 04:19 PM

Valley Forge is roughly a 30 minute drive from Delaware County.

valley forge park: Pennsylvania Barn - Valley Forge Park - 08/21/11 11:24 AM
Pennsylvania Barn located in Valley Forge Park

There are trails around this barn and around the park that are good for hiking and biking.
General Henry Knox spent a winter on this farm during the winter of 1777.  Earlier in December he aided Washington in organizing the troops in the December 25th crossing of the Delaware River into New Jersey.
