WALTHAM, Mass. – September 11, 2019 – The Massachusetts Association of Realtors® (MAR) reported today that the number of single-family homes put under agreement in the month of August went up almost 10 percent and the number of condominiums put under agreement went up almost nine percent compared to this time last year. It appears the mild winter and advent of Spring along with low-interest rates has incentivized Real Estate buyers. TheMassachusetts Association of Realtors has published the February Pending Sales. Pending sales are way up in single family homes and condominiums. This would indicate another strong Spring market. Inventory is low but that will help increase sales prices even though the median prices have slipped a bit, according to the article.
