Second: The last time both Ash Wednesday and Valentine's Day fell on Valentine's Day was in 2018.

valentines day: This Is The Day... - 02/14/23 12:26 PM
...WE CELEBRATE ROMANCE, RELATIONSHIPS, and LOVE
Hey Guys and Gals, it's Valentine's Day. It's the one day of the year we all officially celebrate relationships. It matters not if you are married, coupled, or single. Today I sent Valentines' greetings to family, friends, and clients & offer greetings to those I come in contact with.  I look them in the eye, smile, stick my hand out, and say Happy Valentine's Day.
The day is really about relationships and that link of commonality we experience with each other. I hope everyone reading this has a fun day interacting with our fellow human beings. And, … (6 comments)

valentines day: Valentine's Day 2021 - 02/14/21 10:58 AM
Happy Valentine's Day to ALL. Even though Valentine's Day did not start as a lovey-dovey day through the years it has morphed into what we celebrate today. So, guys and gals, make sure you take your significant other and give them an extra hug and show them they are important to you.
One year, as a surprise, I hired a singing group (trio) and arranged with Pam's boss for them to come to the office where Pam (my wife) worked. The boss told her they were having a department meeting. In came the trio (they knew Pam as they were friends of … (21 comments)

valentines day: If It's February 14th... - 02/14/17 07:18 AM
...it means we are only 15 days from March and the Spring Market! Ohhh, AND it's Valentine's Day. Pam & I celebrated Valentine's day Saturday. We decided to got to the Black Cow Tap & Grill in Hamilton, MA.

Pam ordered baked haddock lightly topped with cracker crumbs and served with garlic mashed Yukon potatoes, roasted asparagus, and lemon beurre blanc.
I ordered pan seared Alaskan Halibut served with roasted fingerling potatoes, a light garlic spinach,  and blueberry sauce.
