Boise is one of the best cities in the country for raising a family, according to new rankings from Forbes.com.
The City of Trees, no stranger to top 10 lists, was rated seventh out of America's 100 largest metro areas. Forbes ranked cities based on median household income, Cost of Living Index, housing affordability, the percentage of residents who own their homes, average commuting delays, crime rate rankings, and local school quality.

(this is a repost from earlier) The move to Boise from Petaluma, California, Why? The reasons could be endless or just a simple one like love, or lifestyle or a job. Whatever your reason to be looking to move to Boise or you are, you will not regret it! In October of 2013 I did the move, for endless list of reason, my wife had just passed from cancer a few months earlier, cost of living, school system for my 8 year old, and lifestyle. I cannot say enough about Boise and agree with Forbes as a top 10 place to live and raise (1 comments)
