"When is the right time to buy?" is probably the most frequently asked question by buyers. There isn't a definite answer to it because each buyers situation is different. Some should have bought last year but missed the train. Some should maybe wait a little longer but for some buyers the right time to buy is RIGHT NOW. It really depends on your financial situation, the type of property you are looking for and what your local market has available. Keep in mind that every market is local. Let's be honest, almost every home you find in the MLS suggests in some way that the home is well maintained. Hardly do you ever read "Home shows signs of deferred maintenance and is deliapidated. You don't want to miss this one!"We listed a beautiful contemporary home on 5 acres just the other day. Right away, you could tell the sellers have taken good care of the home. How do we know? The home is clean, the sellers are proud to show it off and they can't wait to talk about all its wonderful features. They have great confidence.In this particular case, (2 comments)

We recently received a showing request for one of our listings and my husband told the showing agent about another listing we have that appeared to meet all of the buyer criteria. The showing agent commented that she couldn't understand why the second listing didn't pop up on her list of properties she was going to show to her buyer. It then turned out that the second listing didn't match the showing agent's own criteria: the co-broke being offered. She emailed my husband stating this as well. She ended the email saying "....and you would do the same". Uh, well, but we (3 comments)
