Out of curiosity we have been watching some of National Geographic Channel’s “Doomsday Preppers” in recent months. In case you have never heard the term “Prepper”, here’s a quick rundown found on Wikipedia:  
A movement of individuals or groups (called survivalists or preppers) who are actively preparing for emergencies as well as possible disruptions in social or political order, on scales ranging from local to international. Today, I came across a survey on Inman News asking "Tell us what you really think of open houses".
 
As the survey is already closed, I would like to give my opinion on open houses here on the Sebring Real Estate blog: Well,..........it depends! I know, this sounds like I'm really trying to weasel my way out of this one, don't I?  Don't give up on me yet, just read on.

For the past 41 years I've managed to make it through life without a navigation system. We've relocated some 15 times and one relocation was from Germany to the US - never got lost - not once!I have always relied on landmarks for navigation and my husband says I have a natural talent for it. I never leave the office or house without knowing where I'm going and how to get there. I use Google maps. I look at the route, I look at the landmarks and I get where I want to be.
