One of the perks of being a REALTOR® in Silver Spring, MD and beyond is definitely the beautiful homes I get to tour with my buyers. Some just make you happy, others inspire, and many showcase the love that lives there. We can feel the warmth as soon as we enter, we can hear the laughter, and imagine the family gatherings around the dining table.

Behind The Lavender Whim is my friend Jill-Ann, a small business owner, artist and illustrator located in Ellicott City, Maryland.  Jill-Ann's paintings are colorful and playful, are printed on greeting cards, note pads, stationary, gift tags and wrapping paper.
She also creates custom watercolor paintings and that's just what I've commissioned The Lavender Whim to do a few times for my First Time and Forever Home Buyers.

I am just beyond thrilled for my buyers and can't stop smiling. This was a tough one. A roller-coaster short sale up until the very last minute. But we hung in there and breathed a very big sigh of relief when it was all done and the buyers opened their front door to their new home for the very first time. A Happy Closing Day indeed!
