That's right - you read the HEADLINE correctly, I am offering FREE Coaching to AR Realtors!
Why am I doing this?
...I am doing this because I am passionate about helping others, but I am also very passionate about improving the overall standards in Real Estate.

Before I go any further, let me tell you a little bit … (13 comments)

realtors: FREE web tools for Realtors - 03/20/09 11:45 AM
Have you always wanted to know the "inside secrets" to online real estate marketing?
Do you ever feel like this little duckling?  On the surface you appear calm and collected, but underneath the surface you are treading water or paddling for your life.

I know there were many days as an Active Realtor that I felt this way, which is exactly why I co-created this amazing new site for Realtors.  I have put my heart & soul into this site to help prevent other Realtors from experiencing this frustration.
For the most part every Realtor I know is extremely smart, but … (4 comments)

realtors: Motivated AND Qualified Buyers.... who wants some? - 02/27/09 07:09 AM
Dear AR friends,
Once again I need your input!  Thank you in advance :)
It seems that things are looking up in the world of Real Estate; however, it seems the majority of Realtors are still finding it difficult to find "good buyers" to work with.  Most are being forced to cut back their marketing expenses and feeling pressured to generate clients online.  This of course presents another set of hurdles for those who aren't savvy with all the online necessities like: SEO, PPC, Site Design, Writing Content Daily, etc....  After all, there doesn't really seem to be anyway around the … (3 comments)

I understand that having money is NOT everything, BUT not having it IS!
I would like to share with my AR Friends the challenge I have accepted for myself.  I hope that sharing my challenge with you I will do two things:

realtors: 3 Sources of leads for Realtors - 01/25/09 09:11 AM
I had a very interesting conversation with a small group of Realtors this past week; each feeling frustrated with their level of production. Despite their frustration, the group as a whole seemed to have a renewed spirit of hope for increased business this year. I feel it is fair to mention that not one had a written plan of what they were going to do daily to achieve this increased business however.
When I presented each agent in the group with 3 proven methods for generating dozens of leads each week and a plan for converting these consistent leads into at … (22 comments)

realtors: Client Gateway - 12/22/08 04:47 AM
How are you guys using the "Client Gateway" function on your MLS?  Or are you?
Early this year or maybe even late 2007 we got to see a demonstration on the ListingBook product; from what I remember it was a very cool technology and appeared that it would replace our MLS client gateway.  The sad news is that for whatever reason they haven't been able to make it available to our area :(
Are any of you using ListingBook?  How many of you are still using the MLS client gateway and what purpose does it serve for you?
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!  MAY … (0 comments)

realtors: Should Realtors be able to use "MLS" in their web domain? - 12/21/08 02:21 PM
San Diego recently adopted a rule prohibiting all Realtors from using "MLS" in their web domain address; do other states have this same rule?
The reason given is: that by using the MLS in your domain is somehow misleading the public into thinking the agent is the actual MLS.
What's your opinion?

realtors: Top MLS Features - 12/21/08 02:17 PM
Dear AR Friends, I would appreciate your input on this one.....
There seem to be as many MLS solutions as there are Realtors and the advent of the "widget" has created even more options for displaying the MLS on websites & blogs. It seems every state is working to develop their "State MLS" and NAR is working to develop a "National MLS".  What does all this mean for the MLS?

1.  How do you use the MLS?

2.  What features do you use the most?

3.  What features do you use the least?

4.  What features … (2 comments)

realtors: Pissed Off Realtors - 09/03/08 11:42 AM
San Diego Realtors - are you having a rough year?
Has your broker started to put pressure on you to increase your productivity?  Possibly your broker has lowered your commission split to compensate for the lost volume?
I am willing to bet a few of you have even been asked the question "Have you thought about getting a job?"  This is not a fun question to be asked; although, it may be appropriate.  However, if you are committed to a career in real estate and simply experiencing a slump for whatever reason this conversation clearly illustrates yet another major flaw in the traditional broker/agent model.

realtors: 1 Powerful Question: It will change your life! - 06/30/08 02:44 PM
What do you want?
Seriously, take a moment and really think about this question:  What do you want?
I recently attended the Tony Robbins Wealth Mastery Event and one of the guest speakers told a story about asking this very question, "What do you want?".  The story gave examples of profound results in both business & personal environments.
He went on to warn: before asking this question to someone you better be prepared to follow through if you were in a relationship with this person or audience.  If they tell you and you don't do it....it is really the same as saying "I don't care … (8 comments)

realtors: 3 Tips to Greatly Improve Your Business - 06/25/08 07:16 AM
Below are 3 simple but very powerful tips for improving your business and personal relationships.  Most of us already know these things in our heart, the problem is that most of us surround ourselves around negativity.  You know those people who tell you your idea will never work, the ones that say you can't do that, it will never work, etc....  Get a better peer group and BE A BETTER YOU.
1.  Find out what your clients want!  So simple, yet most of us rarely do it; Ask your clients what they want and give it to them.
2.  It's never … (5 comments)

realtors: Wealth Mastery in San Francisco - 06/24/08 02:46 PM
Just got back home to "America's Finest City", San Diego after attending an incredible Tony Robbins seminar in SF.  WOW!  What an event, there were some truly amazing guest speakers like: Keith Cunningham, Michael Smorch, Sandy Botkin and Chuck Mellon and the overall quality of people there was second to none.  No kidding, I believe the greatest people on this earth attend these events.... words really can not even accurately describe the genuine, caring & loving friends that I made this weekend.
I look forward to sharing many more of the personal break throughs and transformations that I was blessed with this … (5 comments)

realtors: Realtors - Employees or Business Owners? - 06/17/08 11:13 AM
AR Friends - I hope you can help me successfully navigate through the current barrier I am experiencing in recruiting.
What prompts agents to willingly pay XYZ Brokerage tens of thousands of dollars in commission each year when they have so many other options?
What makes an agent turn a blind eye to the possibility of getting the same or greater value from a brokerage charging a fraction of the money?
Do agents truly believe that clients are doing business with them because they work at XYZ Brokerage?  For those of you that do believe this, have you audited your files to see what … (2 comments)

realtors: Are Short Sales worth the headaches? - 06/16/08 04:52 PM
I meet so many realtors that tell me they are making a fortune on listing short sales, how can this be?  I have yet to meet any buyer agents who have actually closed a short sale escrow; in fact, every buyer agent I speak with tells me their buyers walked after months of frustration.  Listing agents always promise they have verbal approval but are just waiting for the written approval.....which they never seem to get.
I have met 3-4 listing agents who have dozens possibly even hundreds of short sale listings and thankfully they were honest with me, telling me "we … (11 comments)

AR Friends & Fellow Realtors,
I want to be the best broker in San Diego, CA!  I began building my company Dream Design Realty 3.5 years ago and I'm constantly looking for ways to improve the value I provide to my realtors.

realtors: How much does a Televison Cost? - 06/10/08 02:41 PM
I can tell you several things I want in my life.  I can also safely say that I do not spend every moment of every day working to achieve these things.........  Why not?  I asked myself.
Here are a few excuses that I have told myself over the years.
Fear of failure Fear of success Not enough time I don't know how I shouldn't have to do this to get what I want I am not good enough The market sucks These "reasons" are nothing but poor excuses to justify my current position in life.  "If it is to be, it … (5 comments)
