booth duty: Booth duty at the Mullet Festival - 10/14/07 03:33 PM
I have never been one to run from booth duty.  I actually think that contact with the general public helps keep you attuned to customers.
Just about every business I been involved with has run the risk of listening to employees more than customers.  That's a quick way to loose customers.
There is nothing like a couple of hours of intense customer involvement to remedy that. 
Today I spent a few hours at the Swansboro, NC Mullet Festival.  The event has nothing to with hair.  It's about the kind of mullet that swim in the sea.
