I am not sure when I learned the value of finding experts and listening to them, but I have a feeling I was pretty young.  Expertise is a simple proposition to me, and it is probably best illustrated by telling the story of one of my first fishing trips in Beaufort, NC.

I was putting up our Christmas lights a few weekends ago when my wife noticed a pickup truck stopped at one of flyer boxes on a vacant lot up the street from our home.
They came on down to the clubhouse and boat ramp just across the street from us and parked.  I had noticed the box was empty of flyers the day before, but the opportunity to tell the agent had yet to happen.

I recently had a really good experience with a client.  I put a lot of effort into my web presence and sometimes I wonder if I have the right balance, but a new client's recent comment seem to indicate that my web efforts are well worth it.
In earlier posts, I had talked about the challenges of working with City-data.  I spent a few days and re-created my websites, Southern Outer Banks and Coastal Paradise, on my personal domain.  As you can see if you click on the links, I stripped out all advertising.  It was a lot of trouble.
