Lowry is a neighborhood in Denver, Colorado. This neighborhood use to be the Lowry Air Force Base that was officially closed on April, 27th 1994 and Lowry was Redeveloped into a Denver neighborhood. Lowry's Officer and NCO living Quarters were turned into new Townhomes and Condos. Richmond, Standard Pacific and other builders started building Single-Family Homes in Northwest. There are still many of the original buildings including some Airplane Hangers and the Museum *Wings Over the Rockies.
