social networking: Creating a FriendFeed Account

In yesterday's post we identified a good reason to get started with FriendFeed - to help create and extend your brand online. We will discover many other good reasons and uses for FriendFeed, but first things first. This post is about opening your FriendFeed account. It's extremely simple, even for those of us with middle aged children! In fact, I think it's more difficult to explain than to do. go to FriendFeed home page and click 'Create an account' enter the usual registration details, and click 'Create my account' Tip: if you are wondering about 'nickname', its going to show up (2 comments)

If social networking services are your friends, Friendfeed might just end up becoming your best friend. To understand why that might be, you need to know a bit about what Friendfeed is, and does:
First, at it’s core, Friendfeed is a place online where you can bring together all of your blogging and micro-blogging and social networking activity in one, single place. Let’s say you are active on several social networking services, such as Facebook, Twitter and Flickr. social networking: Google Friend Connect

Maybe it’s just my advancing ‘maturity’, but I’m finding this burgeoning world of social networking to be quite taxing. Nevertheless, I’m giving it the old college try, and in fact I’m working on becoming a first class twit. (For those of you who already knew that, I should point out that by ‘twit‘ I mean a person who tweets with Twitter.) Not only that, I have a Facebook profile, a Facebook page and a Facebook Group. I’m not short of social site accounts! And today, I added to my growing list of social networking tools and installed Google’s most recent invention (3 comments)
