So its a Buyer's market but if you already have a primary residence but want to use real estate as a start on a long term financial plan why don't you buy an investment property. Everyone has to start somewhere...so start out with a 2 unit. With so many homeowners losing their homes the need for rentals will increase. Not everyone can afford to live in a fancy apartment building with rents over $1000.00. So become a landlord and offer people a nice apartment for a reasonable rent under a $1000. I have the following 2 units available now!
