If you read my previous post you were probably wondering what the title had to do with the content of the post? After scratching your head you probably thought..."She had a bad day and needed to rant". Actually I have had a wonderful weekend and a great summer. Here is why I love Chicagoland in the summer: Festivals: This weekend the following festivals are going on: Blues Fest - One of the largest Blues' fest in the world! Free!! I am the owner of the Facebook page "365 Things to Do in Chicagoland" and I am trying to post an activity at least once a day for people to check out whether they live in the Chicagoland area or are planning to visit. The "365 Things to Do" trend started in TX by some Active Rain memebers - check out the Austin, TX page. With close to 90,000 fans this page is amazing! Why did I choose Chicagoland vs Chicago? chicagoland: Dedicated Realtor Almost Freeze's at Open House!

The never ending winter here in the Chicagoland area did not stop this weekend. I got lassoed into having an open house by a negotiator that was working on a short sale listing I have about 40 miles north of my office. I won't tell you the story how I ended up with this listing....too long. The negotiator insisted that if I followed her instructions we would get several offers during the weekend. Well, despite my gut feeling, I went ahead and followed her instructions. I posted the listing all over the Internet...thanks Postlet! I sent out emails to listing agents (5 comments)
