By any chance did you get a marketing piece saying home prices are up 20% in some areas? Well, as much as I would love to say that Oswego IL home prices appreciated that much the truth is a bit different. According to YTD 2015 market statiscs put out by MRED (local MLS) home prices in Oswego IL only rose 2.7% on average from 2014's $243,929 to YTD 2015 price of $250,574. The median homeprice only rose 2% to a 2015 high of $244,750 from 2014's $239,900.
We did have a higher increase in actual closed home sales - up 8.8% to 530 (0 comments)
