There is a movement underway in our state's capitol looking for more ways to bring money into its' treasury. One of the ways our "humble servants" are looking to do this with a tax on services. Looks like it is going to rear its ugly head again this fall. Tax on services will raise the cost of buying a home. It will tax the sales commission, the title work, the deed prep, the settlement fees. It will raise the cost of home ownership. You will have to pay tax every time you have labor done on the house.
