Connecticut is a state rich with history and with resources and recreation that offers much. The state can boast of being one of the original 13 colonies, and as early as 1662 was operating under a state constitution. The constitution for the State of Connecticut served as the model for the constitution of the United States.
According to the census taken in 2010, Connecticut has the highest per capita and median incomes in the country.
