Prospect CT Residents Decorate Everything Our little town of Prospect CT works to keep community spirits high throughout the year. It is especially high for the Christmas season starting with the lighting of the town tree right after Thanksgiving along with the Christmas parade. Residents are encouraged to show off their pride with decorations and prizes for best decorated house as well as street signs. I did a little driving early this morning to find some worthy signs and it seems as if the residents are feeling a little in the Hum-Bug mode as there were very few decorated. Prospect CT Residents Are In the Christmas Spirit As one drives through the residential neighborhoods in Prospect CT one can see the homes all nicely decorated for Christmas. Even before one gets into the streets, the street signposts are also nicely decorated. The town will have its competition with the best decorated signpost again this year. I did take a drive to see what the competition was and there was certainly some imagination at work. Here are a few of the creative designs:

christmas colors: Time For Some Christmas Color 2020

This being a year of different, it seems only appropriate that n Amaryllis plant in our house would behave differently. My wife's thumbs are typically as green as a lawn in a dry July. However, her Amaryllis plant just decided to add some Christmas cheer to our home. It recently blossomed with these 4 large flowers and almost made it so top heavy the stem couldn't support the blossoms. Hopefully the color will last longer so the dining room can enjoy the cheer, as well as us. Time for some Christmas color 2020 … (18 comments)
