fall foliage in watertown ct: The Leaves Have Peaked in Lower Litchfield County - 10/23/16 09:38 AM

I took some last day photos as I may not make it back before all the leaves have fallen.

fall foliage in watertown ct: The Colors are Close to Peak in Lower Litchfield County CT - 10/16/16 10:13 AM
We are into mid October and the days are getting shorter and the temperatures are dipping.  We have had our first frost and it won't be long until we start the dreary days of winter.

If the colors of this fall are any indication of the growth next year, then hopefully we'll have a mild winter and they can bud early.
