groundhog day 2016: Phil and Chuckles Want an Early Spring

Groundhog Day 2016, but unlike the movie with Bill Murray, we will not be stuck in a loop of winter like we were last year.
At dawn of this day, Punxsutawney Phil emerged from his burrow and was not frightened by his shadow. As thought on cue, Colchester Chuckles in CT also thought that we should relax and wait for an early spring.
For many here in CT it's as if we have been in a tepid fall since November as we have enjoyed some mild temperatures. Even the Nor'easter that came through here 10 days ago has been forgotten as the snow is almost completely … (15 comments)
