home inspection: I'm Hot Stuff, and I Know As I've Been Tested

I'm Hot Stuff, and I Know As I've Been Tested During a recent inspection for a client, I was asked by the inspector to smile. It's an easy thing for me to do, but he was holding a slightly unusual camera. Specifically, an infrared camera and he had been using it to test the registers of the warm air system of the home. Like any modern digital camera it uses an SD card to store the images, which for an inspector allows the report to be competed showing variations to the heat distribution system that can cause cold spots in the home. home inspection: A Home Inspection Is Not An Opportunity To Re-Negotiate the Contract

A Home Inspection Is Not An Opportunity To Re-Negotiate the Contract In the current active market, buyers need to be aggressive in order to get a working contract on a home. When there are multiple offers, which is quite common in our aggressive market, the offers get more creative and often less likely to contain requests for seller concessions. Over the summer I forgot to finish the job.
As my wife was commenting on the still not repaired humidifier, she ended the conversation with the comment, "I suppose it will have to wait until we sell the house. Isn't that when sellers fix things so they will (11 comments)
